Hey guys there's another way to use multiple whatsapp accounts on single phone..
There's a 3rd party app I've found called 'Disa. It's a multi messenger app, still in beta phase hence only limited services are supported. Means you can use multiple messaging services like text, fb chat, whatsapp etc. through a single app..

It uses a plugin based system to download other services and text supports comes out of box..

Below is a tutorial which will help you to configure whatsapp account through disa.

STEPS:-

1) Visit http://disa.im . There will be link at bottom to download the app.

2) after installing you will notice that only text and fb chat plugins are installed and below that there will be option to 'search 3rd party plugins'. 

3) clicking there will get you to their g+ page. There will be post to download whatsapp plugin..

OR you can visit http://waplugin.bitballoon.com/ (note: don't use uc browser or opera mini, use chrome, aosp, firefox etc which supports 3rd party protocols rather than just http & https).

4) if you are visiting above site with pc then you have to scan the QR code else click on the QR code.

5) it will go back to disa and you can see the whatsapp plugin has been downloaded. After downloading restart the 'disa' app.

6) then goto settings, you can see whatsapp there. Click on it. It will then go to whasapp registration page..

7) register your second number there, you can choose to call or text method for verification and voila you are done..

NOTE: This app is still in beta phase. More services will be added later..
